MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
2. To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
3. To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
4. To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
5. To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Midwifery from a recognised/accredited Institute

Desired: Master of Science in Midwifery or related Healthcare field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior midwifery experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: 5-10 years midwifery experience
